The Municipal Clerk is Secretary to the Mayor and Borough Commision. The Clerk records and prepares minutes of all the Borough Commisoner Meetings, as well as processes, records and files resolutions and ordinances, arranges for legal advertising of official documents and issues various licenses and permits. In addition, the Clerk is also the Election Official of the Borough. This include registering new residents to vote, accepting petitions for vacancies in local elected offices, furnish materials for local elections, selection of polling places and maintain custody of election results.
