The Borough of Longport has entered into a Shared Services Agreement with the City of Margate City for Municipal Court Services. Effective May 1, 2021, matters pertaining to the Longport Municipal Court will be handled by the City of Margate City Municipal Court.

The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over traffic violations, parking violations, criminal disorderly persons offenses, petty disorderly offenses and the Borough of Longport Ordinances. The Municipal Judge also has the authority to issue domestic violence temporary restraining orders, authorize warrants for arrest, revoke driving privileges in the State of New Jersey, order Probation, Community Service and Jail Sentences as stipulated by statute.  Payment of fines/tickets may be made during regular business hours or online at  www.NJMCDirect.com
